The ‘Technology for Design Seminar / Workshop 2011’ is a concurrent event of the Business of Design Week (BODW) organised by Hong Kong Design Centre. It brings together world-class technology experts from academic and industry to share cutting-edge know-how.
Digital marketing is now the hottest topic among marketing practitioners. Consumers will search through internet before they made buying decision, while the marketers are promoting before product / service launch, and also designers are collecting potential users’ feedback throughout different stages of product / service development.
People who want to better connect consumers and product/service offerings could take the advantages of integrating digital technology. Meanwhile, the information technology can also shorten the distance of communication and reduce the physical need of scale. In order to release the potential of digital marketing in Design and Business, the seminar / workshop is intended to inspire and enrich participants to learn the know-how in creating and making decision for a marketing strategy.
This year’s theme is “Digital Marketing for Design and Business”. The specific topic areas that will be covered by our academic and industry keynote speakers include "A Macro-view of Digital Marketing", "Power of Mobile in Marketing Strategy", "From Digital Publication to Digital Marketing", and “The Future Development of Digital Marketing: How Digital Marketing is Changing the Trend of Marketing from Multi-angle”.
