BIP Asia (Business of Intellectual Property Asia Forum) is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council with the support from the Intellectual Property Department of HKSAR Government. It offers an effective platform to connect IP owners, buyers and sellers, R&D professionals, finance and legal intermediaries, industry associations and also design and technology practitioners from all around the world under one roof to discuss the latest developments in the IP world, and to explore business collaboration opportunities at the same time. The Forum focuses on the trade aspect of IP, especially buy-sell, monetisation and licensing, with a programme tailored to bring together IP players and facilitate business through networking and sharing sessions.

BIP Asia coincides with the Business of Design Week as well as the Inno Design Tech Expo and World SME Expo. The Forum welcomes all IP related players to join and gather the latest market intelligence on the global IP arena, in particular Asia and China, and also discover the Hong Kong advantage through business matching session.
